Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging (If the item is packed insufficiently and damaged the item will not be refunded as it is the senders responsibility to pack the item adequately). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If the item has any sign of use or damage we have the right to refuse the refund. We also have the right to deduct a restocking fee from the refund to cover any shipping costs if deemed necessary.

To start a return, you can contact us at mail@blackcatpc.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label when appropriate subject to certain conditions On returns which are simply "No longer needed, accidental order" The return label will be chargable as Lithium batteries  are difficult to return. 

We will also send  instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. More information can be found on the returns page.

Damages and issues

If the part you've ordered arrives damaged. Do not connect/use it on your device. This may cause damage to your device. Please contact for a replacement or refund.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


12 Months warranty 
Certain items we sell cannot be refunded or replaced under warranty like perishable or degradable goods. For example the laptop batteries. Laptop batteries will be tested in-house on return. We will create a report to see if the battery has failed due to manufacturing fault, wrong purchase or misuse. 

 

 


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. We have the right to deduct a restocking fee from the refund to cover any shipping costs if deemed necessary. Please see the returns page for more information.
